Project & team management

Whether you need a Project manager to plan, execute and follow up on the specific deliveries – or the track/team manager to ensure motivation, productivity, progress and coorporation – then I’m ready to step in with my experience and domain knowledge.

I have over 15 years of hands-on experience in ERP project management, including implementation, migration, and development projects, utilizing both agile and waterfall methodologies

Why an Internal Project Manager?

Many companies underestimate the numerous tasks and coordination required on the customer side of an ERP implementation project.

While the vendor and their project manager will naturally focus on their deliverables, your success hinges on managing your side of the project effectively, ensuring that your contributions are on time and meet quality standards.

You need someone internally to ensure that resources are booked and meetings are scheduled, communication flows smoothly, and you are represented in the steering committee.

This person will follow up on the vendor’s deliverables, monitor estimates and costs, and ensure that your interests are attended to. They will also help establish change management processes and foster a strong project culture.

Do you have this resource in-house and available?

Domain knowledge

You may waste a surprising amount of time on your project by deploying a project or team manager who lacks ERP domain experience.

With an experienced ERP manager on board, your project will benefit from significantly improved collaboration and information flow.
When a team of specialized people works toward a common goal, delays, errors, and irritation can arise if the team must repeatedly explain contexts and processes to the manager.

If a manager is not sufficiently familiar with the subject matter, it will lead to wasted time and missed opportunities to identify issues early.

Transparency

Everyone talks about transparency, but when it comes down to business, few truly deliver.

At ERP Manager, transparency isn’t just a buzzword; it’s part of the DNA. With my experience on the customer side, I truly understand the frustration of losing insight into the overall project and external deliverables – and not being informed in a timely manner. I’ve been in your chair!

For me, it’s all about process, data, and experience. I ensure that processes and agreements are in place to collect the necessary data on progress, costs, and time to completion. This enables me to produce the needed reports and proactively navigate challenges with experience.

I recognize the importance of clear communication – whether things are going well or not. Project issues are inevitable; what matters is spotting them early – and how you choose to handle them.

Collaboration is a Must

ERP Manager knows the ERP business.

With over 20 years of experience in the Microsoft Partner space and nearly 10 years of responsibility and management on the customer side, I deliver value and insight from both sides of the table.

As an independent solution architect for the customer, ERP Manager works closely with the chosen Microsoft Partner and ISV vendors. Together, we build strong solutions that utilize standard building blocks to deliver the best possible business fit.

This requires tight collaboration between the specialists involved. No single person knows it all in the process. ERP Manager facilitates communication, and decision-making, and ensures that all pieces fit together and are delivered according to strategy, design, and plan.

ERP Manager is your guarantee of an independent advisor without bias.

Choose your services

When hired early in the project, ERP Manager often assists with the initial implementation strategy and business process overview.

The next step is detailed process mapping, strategy development, requirements analysis, and solution design. This is where the solution blueprint and delivery strategies are created.

ERP Manager can also assist with certain typical functional consultancy tasks such as configuration, data migration, design, testing, training, and documentation. I step in where needed, always according to scope and agreement.

If custom functionality or integration is required, ERP Manager can drive the design-to-delivery process.

Your organization may not need help with the entire process – you can select the specific services that meet your needs.
